The musical growth of Zico and Park Kyung is what made Block B who they are now.

Block B, who made their debut with the single album "Do U Wanna B?" in 2011 came out to the public with hip hop, a music genre that wasn't favorable among the public at the time, in a friendly approach which garners attention in the music industry. Zico especially became a topic of conversation as he personally participated in producing on the group's debut album.

While Park Kyung built Block B's own genre with his participation in lyric-making since Block B's first mini album, 'New Kids On The Block', Zico, who composed and wrote lyrics for the album's title track, 'Tell Them' officially turned Block B as a self-producing group.

In addition, Park Kyung, who started his solo career following Zico, had created 'Park Kyung's own love songs trademark' which can not be heard in any of Block B's songs. Park Kyung who recently released his first mini album 'Notebook ', had succeeded in developing the public's sympathy with his own storytelling and song release.

In particular, Park Kyung who wrote, composed, and produced Block B's special single "Yesterday" in February has helped Block B expand their musical spectrum once more. If Zico revealed the emotional side of Block B with their mini album 'Blooming Period' that was released last April, then Park Kyung took charge in revealing the punk side of Block B through 'Yesterday'. In Yesterday's case, the song was able to make a sweep by claiming the top position on eight charts immediately after the album release, proving Block B's pride further as the chart kings which the public trust and listen to.

Their company Seven Seasons stated, "Since their debut days, Zico and Park Kyung have grown to become a mutual support towards each other as music colleagues.
